The EC Control Board can be described in detail as follows:

1. Power Operation: 
   The EC Control Board operates its power through two methods. The first method uses photovoltaic (PV) panels to charge and operate a lithium-ion battery. This provides a sustainable and energy-efficient solution that can be utilized both indoors and outdoors. The second method is the continuous power operation using DC power. This approach delivers a steady and continuous power supply.

2. Communication: 
   The EC Control Board is equipped with WiFi communication capabilities. This allows for wireless control signal transmission and reception, making it easy for users to utilize control features from their desired locations. WiFi communication offers the advantages of easy installation, maintenance, and wide coverage.

3. Control: 
   The EC Control Board can control the light and dark states of Electro Chromic (EC) windows at each stage. EC windows are smart windows that change color due to electrical signals. Through the control board, the current's size and direction can be adjusted, allowing for a free change in the window's light and dark states. This function effectively manages the light inside and outside the building, improving energy efficiency.

4. Others:
   The EC Control Board is built with an overcharge protection feature that extends battery life and ensures safety. Also, it includes an overheat protection feature that detects overheating through an internal temperature sensor and, when necessary, automatically turns off the board or operates the cooling system. Lastly, it supports manual control input, allowing the connection with external devices such as switches. This allows users to have direct control or additional control over automated systems.
